ASSISTED LIVING AT BROOKEGROVE

NURTURING FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT, OF CHOICE, OF SELF-DISCOVERY

Nothing says “home” like a beloved pet greeting you … the aroma of baking brownies … the sound of a child laughing … and the many other comforting touches you’ll find in The Meadows and The Woods assisted living residences at Brooke Grove Retirement Village . Here, on a pastoral retreat in a convenient Montgomery County, Maryland, location, skilled assistance blends seamlessly with the welcome feeling of home.

… BECAUSE WHAT SURROUNDS YOU REALLY MATTERS.

AN INNOVATIVE APPROACH TO ASSISTED LIVING

Specifically designed for assisted living or memory support, each residential-style dwelling is home to only 16 residents. Over-sized windows and skylights allow natural light to warm and brighten each room. Community members gather in family rooms with fireplaces and pianos, game and craft rooms, intimate dining rooms and sunny decks.

Everything at Brooke Grove is intentionally designed to enhance lives. We do this through LIFE ®  principles and programming we’ve developed to create the cheerful atmosphere, opportunities for individual discovery, partnership with families and enriching experiences that set us apart.

At Brooke Grove, safety and security are paramount but not confining. With easy access to large courtyards, residents move freely inside and out, visiting our neighborhood homes, strolling winding paths, and enjoying our peaceful wooded setting. An ornamental Koi pond, flower and sensory gardens, and a playground for visiting children charm and entertain.

Those who live here continue to grow and learn, to participate in lifelong hobbies and explore new ones, to love and care for one another, and to feel a sense of purpose with each new day.

Staff typeHours / Day / Residentvs state avg
Registered Nurse (RN) Info RNs hold the highest nursing license and can assess residents, interpret test results, and direct care plans. More RN hours per day often signals stronger clinical oversight and faster response to health changes. 57m per day ▲ 16% State avg: 49m per day · National avg: 41m per day
LPN / LVN Info Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) or Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) deliver routine hands-on care — medication administration, wound dressing, and monitoring vital signs. They work under RN supervision and make up a large share of daily bedside care. 56m per day ■ Avg State avg: 55m per day · National avg: 52m per day
Nurse Aide Info Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) provide the most direct day-to-day assistance: bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility. Nurse aide hours are typically the largest staffing category and directly affect residents' quality of life. 2h 27m per day ▲ 14% State avg: 2h 8m per day · National avg: 2h 20m per day
Weekend Total Nursing Info Combined nursing hours (RN + LPN + Nurse Aide) per resident per day on weekends. Staffing often drops on weekends — this figure reveals whether the facility maintains adequate coverage outside of weekday hours. 3h 48m per day ▲ 8% State avg: 3h 31m per day · National avg: 3h 27m per day
Physical Therapist Info Hours per resident per day provided by licensed Physical Therapists (PTs) or PT Assistants. PT services help residents recover mobility after injury or illness and are especially important for post-acute (short-stay) rehabilitation. 9m per day ▲ 55% State avg: 6m per day · National avg: 4m per day
Weekend RN Info Registered nurse hours specifically on weekends. Facilities sometimes reduce RN presence on Saturdays and Sundays — a low weekend RN figure compared to weekday hours can indicate reduced clinical oversight when most administrative staff are absent. 31m per day ▼ 15% State avg: 37m per day · National avg: 29m per day
