Beware of this facility. We have had so many issues with this facility and the care of our loved one, that we have moved out as quickly as we could!! If you see carpet and cloth covered chairs - just know that you will sit in feces and urine often and will always smell it! When you have people who do not have the personal care of themselves in charge of your loved one, you will see a low level of care that you will never have experienced before. When you ask about the state of your loved one, you will always be told that when you weren't there that day, they were much better!! I came everyday as I didnt trust them and even that didn't help!! When you notice that your loved ones clothes disappear and the staff says that is just the way it is... don't believe it!! We have moved to a beautiful new facility that is like going from Motel Six to Ritz Carlton! The price at Cadence was almost $12,000.00 a month and it is now $9,000.00 a month for better care, better food, and be staff!! Run do not walk away from this facility!!What do you like most about living here? Answer: The long term Med Techs were great. However, there were only 2 of them out of 10 in Memory and they were kept spinning from the bad Management and ownership of the company. Are there enough caregivers to handle the residents' needs, especially during emergencies? Answer: No Are the common areas pleasant and comfortable for socializing or relaxing? Answer: No How would you rate the quality and variety of the meals? (1-5) Answer: 1 Are special diets handled well? Answer: No Is the dining schedule flexible enough to meet your preferences? Answer: No How do you feel about the level of social interaction available with other residents? Answer: NONE How was the units offered in this community? Answer: Very worn. Carpet in all halls with fabric furniture in all areas so that everything smelled of urine and feces. Do you feel safe living in this community? Answer: No How well do you think the community handles emergencies or unexpected events? Answer: Not well Are there any hidden fees or unexpected charges? Answer: YES!! TONS!! Would you recommend this community to others looking for senior living options? Answer: NO Is there anything you wish you knew before moving in? Answer: It started off two years ago as a nice facility. The management changed after about 6 months and immediately went down to sub par. The staff was replaced with young people with no licenses, personality to deal with people of this need. When a facility decides to go for profit and abandons the people - we should all we warned and that is what I am doing in this review!
