Hospice House of Williamsburg is a nonprofit social-model hospice offering care, comfort, and compassion through and beyond end of life. It is a community that cares for people at the end of life, comforts the bereaved and empowers others to do the same. The have a very spacious residence that aims to be a “home away from home” for guests and  families of their residents. They also have a wide range of care and support services – from companionship in families’ homes to extensive bereavement programs provided to families throughout the community.

The mission of Hospice House of Williamsburg is to give care, comfort, and compassion through and beyond end of life. The word beyond comes into play when talking about their bereavement services. Their bereavement program is fostered by their own director. Their bereavement services are also available to everyone in the community – not just those who have had a loved one utilize the services of Hospice House – and they are free of charge.
