Landon Ridge - Kingwood underwent a comprehensive inspection on July 15, 2021, resulting in 19 state standard violations. Of these, 17 were classified as Life Safety Code deficiencies, while no Health Code deficiencies were listed. The Life Safety Code issues fell into several categories, including fire safety and building maintenance. For example, the facility failed to ensure that locking devices on control doors released when a switch or button was activated at the monitoring station and at the main staff station (corrected by April 9, 2021), and also failed to comply with Chapter 19 of NFPA 101 (corrected by May 14, 2021). Additionally, the facility had issues related to emergency preparedness and response plans, including transportation and evacuation procedures. No Health Code deficiencies were cited during this inspection. No enforcement actions were found in relation to these violations.
