Montgomery Eldercare at Eastway Drive Reviews

June Kourpis (Resident)
I have been staying here at Montgomery Eldercare for 3 years now, and it truly feels like home. One of my absolute favorite things to do is spend time with the other residents during our daily facility programming—we sit, laugh, and chat about what our lives were like before coming here. It keeps us active. When the hot summer weather rolls around, we all go out together to sit on the grand front porch. Looking out at the scenery around here is really wonderful, and sitting in the shade with everyone is so refreshing and a nice way to relax. My absolute favorite caregiver is Giselle. She has been wonderful and has been the person in charge of looking after the residents for some time now. She does so much for us, including cooking our meals! My absolute favorite dish she makes is her legendary homemade potato salad; it's a true comfort food. We truly enjoy everything about the atmosphere and care here!
Bobby (Resident)
I have been staying in this facility for 2 years now, and I can tell you firsthand that they are exceptionally clean. The staff works so hard to maintain a clean, healthy, and completely uplifting environment, and it truly feels like a home where our happiness is their number one priority. Every single morning begins with a meaningful, personal check-in. The caregivers don't just rush through their tasks; they look me directly in the eyes to see how I'm doing, genuinely asking about the quality of my sleep and making sure I'm okay. I love all the caregivers here. Indoors, I especially love challenging my mind with the crossword puzzles they provide, as well as coloring.Outdoors, I love the hands-on feel of gardening and planting flowers. I couldn't ask for a more fulfilling place to spend my days!
Cathy & Cindy (June's Daughters)
As the daughters of June, seeing our mother flourish at Montgomery Eldercare brings us immense peace of mind. We could not be more grateful for the way this team pours their hearts into our mother's daily care. They keep the environment beautifully clean, healthy, and healthy, focusing entirely on making sure our mother is happy, safe, and truly thriving. What we appreciate most is how transparent and collaborative the review process is.
Camille Chambers (Caregiver)
I want to share an incredible health recovery success story that highlights what our focused interventions can do here. I have been working here for 4 1/2 years, and during my time, I've seen firsthand how our dedicated team transforms lives. We do a lot of activities to keep our residents engaged and happy, like baking cakes, hosting tea parties, playing bingo, organizing musical chairs, and gardening together. Beyond these daily activities, our clinical focus is incredibly strong. We recently had a resident who was going through a very serious 50% decline in health. By working tightly as a team, we implemented direct interventions specifically focused on increasing their fluid intake and significantly boosting their protein consumption. We also put a heavy focus on protecting and improving their skin integrity. Because of these dedicated efforts, the resident made a phenomenal turnaround, achieving a 95% recovery! It truly reflects my commitment, and our collective promise as a staff, to give every single resident the highest quality of care.
Mandy (Caregiver)
When it comes to my day-to-day routine here, keeping our residents engaged and happy is my absolute top priority. I have been working here as a caregiver for 2 years, and one thing we pride ourselves on is treating all of our residents equally. We love to do a wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities with them, whether it's getting together for a baking session or playing games. There is one resident here named Diane that we tend to interact with a lot; she is just so incredibly jolly, and her presence completely brightens up the facility. It is truly wonderful to be around her. Of course, there are challenging moments in caregiving, but our management is always there for us and they consistently show up to support us. Our entire team is completely dedicated to making sure the residents' health, happiness, and clean, healthy environment remain our top priority.
