Inspection Report Summary for Parkwood Assisted Living

PARKWOOD HEALTHCARE COMMUNITY underwent a comprehensive inspection on May 18, 2022, resulting in three state standard violations. Two of these deficiencies were related to Health Code requirements, specifically the facility's policies and procedures for preventing the diversion of controlled drugs. These issues were corrected by May 19, 2022. The remaining violation was classified under Life Safety Code standards, as the facility failed to provide a required sprinkler system in accordance with NFPA 13. This deficiency had been identified during an earlier inspection on January 19, 2021, and was corrected by March 4, 2021. No enforcement actions were taken against the facility following these inspections.
