The community is pet-friendly, and staff members speak English, Spanish, and Creole, helping create a welcoming environment for people from different backgrounds. Veterans who qualify may also be able to use VA benefits to help offset monthly costs.

While the surrounding area is not particularly walkable and most errands require a car, the community provides transportation services for residents who need assistance getting around town.
