Brightview Eatontown Reviews

Kathy Panagiotopoulos
I am so disappointed with the outcome of my experience working there for months… Dining Dept. As an experienced employee in hospitality, I was full of great expectations, loving what I do. Bottom line: management doesn’t care. Inexperienced, micromanaging dining manager catering to inexperienced staff while leaving the mature, hard-working employees—who make a difference every day—out!!! The management has to be replaced for the benefit of the residents who pay a high price to live there. Dining experience is one of the highlights of their day. Just do what’s right: hire people that care for the elderly. All I heard was complaints. It made me sad that I had to walk out. Till this day, I keep in touch with most residents. I’m grateful and blessed to have met them. I loved taking care of them. As for the director of the building, she never even bothered to return my call. I’m not a bitter person—I’m disappointed and hurt by the way I was treated. The building is beautiful, very upscale. All I ask is: make a difference, and make it a home for the people who pay you to be in business. 🙏🏻

City and state of the facility. Used for mapping and state-average comparisons.
Licensed bed capacity (maximum allowed). Not the same as how many beds are currently filled.
Indicates whether residents are allowed to have pets in the facility.
Third-party neighborhood walkability score (0–100). Convenience/context metric, not a healthcare quality measure.
Description of bed or unit types offered (e.g. assisted living, memory care), as reported in state or facility disclosures.
Name of the licensed owner, operator, or managing entity as filed with the state. Useful for grouping facilities under the same organization.
A named contact for the facility. Hover the name to see their role — Administrator (state administrator of record or facility-provided administrator), Nursing Director, Medical Director, or Staff. The most authoritative available is shown.
Reported or derived occupancy for the facility—typically how fully licensed capacity is utilized. Compare across peers in the same market.
Better Business Bureau grade for the operating company. Reflects complaint handling and business practices, not clinical care quality.
Count of regulatory inspections in the reporting window. Higher volume can reflect more oversight visits, complaint-driven surveys, or routine licensure cycles.
Regulatory visits tied to complaints or allegations in the state file—not the same as every routine survey.
Total count of deficiencies (cited regulatory issues) recorded in the selected reporting period. Read alongside inspection counts for context.
The average number of deficiencies this facility receives each time it's inspected, calculated as total deficiencies ÷ total inspections. A lower number suggests more consistent compliance with safety and care standards.
