The Bridgeway Care and Rehabilitation Center at Hillsborough, New Jersey, a part of the Bridgeway Senior Healthcare family of senior living and care communities, is the newest community, providing long-term care, skilled nursing and post-acute rehabilitation in a comfortable, safe, and home-like environment. It is conveniently located on the same campus as its sister community the Avalon Assisted Living Residence at Hillsborough.
At the Bridgeway Care and Rehabilitation Center, staff is here to help individuals get on the road to recovery. It offers comprehensive Physical, Occupational and Speech therapies on-site 7 days a week along with specialized programs for Hip, Knee, Stroke, Cardiac, Neurology, and Pulmonary therapies.
Whether an individual’s needs require short-term care, long-term nursing care or rehabilitative support post-hospitalization, for aging or chronic illness, the Bridgeway Care and Rehabilitation Center offers high-quality care in a comfortable, compassionate environment. The staff treats every resident with the utmost respect and dignity and strives to help each person function at the highest level possible by providing a variety of skilled services. Patient education and communication are at the core of these services.
An interdisciplinary, experienced care team of nurses, therapists, and certified nursing assistants is accessible around-the-clock to respond to the unique needs of each patient and resident. A physician directs all care, and the team is in regular contact with families so that they can rest assured that their loved one is happy, comfortable and receiving the care they require. The nursing team is acclaimed for the quality of service it provides.
The goal is to help patients achieve maximum functional ability and improve their health so they can return home as quickly and safely as possible. All therapies include a coordinated “transition to home” program, virtual rehabilitation, state-of-the-art assistive equipment and technologies, and advanced pain management.
If more support is required before returning home and to activities of daily living, patients can transition easily to one of Bridgeway Senior Healthcare’s Avalon Assisted Living Residences for the additional therapy they need to help get them get back to doing what they love. During their stay, residents can enjoy the lovely outdoor courtyards, a robust activities schedule and elegant dining – all designed to enhance their healing process

In addition to Rehabilitation, Long-Term Care and Skilled Nursing, other services include Assisted Living, Memory Care, Respite Care (short-term stays), and Home Therapy.
