Operating as a mission of the Episcopal Diocese of Oklahoma, Saint Simeon’s Senior Community is a senior living community on M. Jr Boulevard in Tulsa, Oklahoma, about 4.6 miles from downtown. The faith-based community welcomes residents of all beliefs and backgrounds. It offers assisted living, memory care, long-term nursing care, and short-term skilled nursing and rehabilitation.
Residents can choose from studio, suite, and one-bedroom accommodations in a single-story building. Daily support includes medication management and assistance with everyday activities. A warm salt-water pool is one of the community’s signature amenities and is used for both wellness programs and social activities such as water aerobics.
The activity calendar includes circuit training, resistance band classes, culinary classes, and a weekly chat with the chef. Residents can also take part in bingo, bocce ball, pokeno, and a regular happy hour with live local bands. Other activities include art therapy, pet therapy, and a Parkinson’s support group.
Outings are offered to bowling alleys, baseball games, the zoo, and the aquarium. Sunday services and holiday dinners are also part of the community’s regular schedule. The community does not allow pets. The area has a Walk Score of 10 out of 100, so most errands nearby require driving.
