The Courtyard Assisted Living provides assisted living in Punta Gorda, Florida, with help available for activities of daily living and medication supervision. Residents can also take part in activities, exercise programs, bingo, card games, and arts and crafts, giving them several ways to stay engaged during the week. The community may be a good fit for a family needing short term support while the usual caregiver travels or recovers because respite care is available.
The community has 60 beds. Rehabilitation services and short term rehabilitation are available for residents who need temporary support during recovery, rather than an ongoing stay. Scheduled transportation serves doctors’ appointments, banking, shopping, and dining, so residents can reach those destinations without arranging each trip themselves.
Residents can use the salon and beauty services, along with a large garden and screened gazebo for outdoor time. Special diets can be accommodated, and services such as prescription ordering and delivery can handle part of the medication process. Different church denominations provide religious services in the facility, while payment options include Insurance and/or HMO, Medicaid, Medicare, Veteran Affairs Benefits, and Workers Compensation. Alex Siquijor serves as the administrator, and Courtyard Enterprises Of Port Charlotte operates the community.
