Our Lady of Perpetual Help Home provides nursing home, skilled nursing, and palliative care in Atlanta, Georgia. Palliative care serves individuals with incurable cancer who cannot afford care elsewhere, while skilled nursing provides licensed nursing care on site around the clock. The home may be a good fit for someone with advanced cancer who needs ongoing nursing and palliative support.
Opened in 1939, the home has 30 beds. Its smaller size gives staff and residents more opportunity to get to know one another. Clinical services include pain management, wound management, tracheostomy care, enteral nutrition therapy, specialized diets, medical equipment as needed, and medication and supplies, addressing complex medical, nutritional, and symptom management needs within the home.
The community is in the Summerhill neighborhood, and Patricia Holden serves as administrator. A barber and beautician are available, along with salon services, so residents can receive personal grooming within the community. Religious services are also available for residents who want spiritual activities on site.
