Inspection Report Summary for The Plaza at Edgemere Health Care

The Plaza at Edgemere Assisted Living underwent a comprehensive inspection on September 22, 2021, resulting in five state standard violations. The Health Code deficiencies consisted of two citations related to infection control policies and procedures, including the requirement for facemasks and N95 masks to be in good condition. These issues were corrected by October 15, 2021. In contrast, the Life Safety Code had three instances of non-compliance from a previous inspection on January 4, 2019, which included resident bedroom door standards, smoke detection system installation, and lighting levels. All these deficiencies were addressed by January 18, 2019. No enforcement actions were found in relation to this facility.
