Serving older adults with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and other forms of cognitive decline, Parkland Memory Care is a 72-bed memory care community in Chandler, Arizona. Operating for seven years, the community offers both private and shared accommodations, along with respite care and short-term stays for families seeking temporary support. Individualized care plans guide daily routines, while trained staff provide 24-hour assistance with dressing, grooming, bathing, medication management, and transportation to medical appointments.
In addition, residents are encouraged to remain engaged through meaningful activities, including participation in a therapy kitchen that promotes involvement in meal preparation. Meal reminders and scheduled nighttime care are also incorporated to support comfort and consistency throughout the day.
The community further enhances daily living with customized meals, a beauty salon and barber shop, private family visiting areas, comfortable shared seating spaces, activity rooms, and secure outdoor courtyards and patios for fresh air and walking. Although the surrounding neighborhood has a Walk Score of 48, allowing access to some nearby destinations on foot, most errands and outings require transportation.
