St. Mary’s Woods offers assisted living, independent living, and respite care in Richmond, VA. Independent living provides an apartment with community services and no daily care, while assisted living provides help with daily tasks such as dressing, bathing, and medication. Respite care provides a short stay for someone who needs temporary support while a usual caregiver travels or recovers.
Having independent living and assisted living on the same campus can suit a resident whose care needs may grow over time without requiring a move to another community. The community has 133 beds, and its independent living apartments give residents a private living space within the community.
St. Mary’s Woods opened in 1988 and offers the Care & Wellness program. Ms. Jotanya S Belton serves as the administrator.
