We surface every licensed facility in our directory and rank them using publicly reported data — state inspection ratings, occupancy, staffing levels, citations, and price. We do not accept payment for placement in the explorer.

Yes. The "Accept Medicaid" column shows which facilities take Medicaid, and our concierge team can walk you through eligibility, waiver programs, and the paperwork required to qualify.

The Assisted Living Explorer is free to use. There is no charge to search, filter, compare, or contact a facility through our tools.
