Grace View offers assisted living, independent living, memory care, and respite care in Carbondale, Colorado. Assisted living includes help with dressing, bathing, and medication while a resident keeps a private living space. Independent living provides private living with community services and no daily care, while memory care offers a secured setting with supervision for someone at risk of wandering. Respite care provides a short stay when a family caregiver needs to travel or recover.
The range of care levels may suit a resident whose needs grow over time, since care can change without leaving the community. Grace View has 48 beds, with private and shared rooms so residents can choose between single occupancy and shared living. The community opened in 2019.
Personal care services and help with self administration of medication support residents with personal tasks and medication routines. Social skills and cultural activities, job readiness and GED programs, community volunteering, and individual, group, and family counseling offer ways to build social connection, continue education, prepare for employment, and access counseling. Drug and alcohol rehabilitation and other rehabilitation services are also available at the community.
Transportation is available for residents as an on site option for community travel. A Walk Score of 86 places the area in the very walkable band, meaning most errands can be done on foot and a resident who no longer drives can still reach nearby errands independently. Marie Herr serves as administrator, and Pacifica Senior Living Re Fund operates Grace View.
